Remington 783 .223 with scope ...

I checked out this rifle earlier today ... I couldn't believe one could buy a .223 rifle with scope for $329 ... so my question is how is this possible ? Is this Remington is a piece of junk or is it a good rifle ?

You can find alot of good hunting rifles nowadays for cheap money. I picked up a Ruger American .308 a while back for right around $300 and I have no complaints. It is extremely accurate. Most of the major companies are selling these basic models for as low price as they are to compete with each other in the same market.
