BSA Martini MKIII Restored!

Been a while since I was over here. I know I posted some pics of a restored MKIII I did a while ago, but I just recently got to shoot some pics in some natural light!

This thing was a mess when I got it, but... its now a masterpiece! Could be my favorite Martini that I currently own.

Anyway, just showing off some pics of what someone can do with one of these things!

Very nice, thank you for sharing. It is my opinion that no country will make them as nice anymore.

As usual, you settle for nothing less than the best. Again, who does your stock work?

BSA Martini International MK III Masterpiece

I have a MK III in its original satin finish, and that is what is on the MK III's and earlier versions. The MK IV's and V's were polished. The rifle here in the photos is well beyond what the BSA factory did. It reminds me of many of the guns in the Colt Firearms Museum. Many of them have a similar high gloss finish. I doubt if there are any other such rifles in the world which have been finished in this exclusive and definitive manner. It should be described as a BSA Martini International MK III Masterpiece.

Did you do all the work yourself or farm it out? If you did your own bluing did you use the hot blue method? OR?

Anyone can get a deep gloss blue it takes mainly sanding to an extremely fine finish in excess of 1000 grit.
Beautiful rifle,
Gabby

Yes, when I originally was restoring it I didn’t want to send out the lever (I know I know)... so I just polished it to a mirror rolled with it!

As far as the ones you have going out, Tyler does some amazing work!! No doubt those will be pure class when you get them back!

Pics post pics of those levers when you get em back from Tyler!
