T1x stock interchangeability

I'm looking at purchasing a T1X in .22 with a "20 barrel but it has a cracked stock near the toe.

Assuming I can find a factory takeoff stock for sale, will a .17 stock fit a .22 action?

Are there any major differences?

Just trying to improve my odds of finding a suitable replacement.

Not a good answer to your situation, but I have a new, take-off stock from mine that I would sell if you want to keep it "factory" with the synthetic stock. I put my T1X in a KRG Bravo before I ever fired it. I bought the grip adapter along with a couple of magazines before I ever shot it, and would include it (the grip adapter) as well. PM me if you are interested. I'll make you a very good deal... Otherwise, I'm guessing that the stocks for the .17 and the .22 are the same.

I have both a 17HMR and 22LR in T1x models, and the stocks are identical.

I also have a couple of centerfire Tikkas - both the original T3 and the newer T3x. The rimfire actions fit into those stocks as well if you use the bottom 'metal' from a T1x model. However, there will be a gap around the rimfire barrels in a centerfire stock if you don't fit the barrel spacer from the T1x models into the T3x stocks.

Great informative answer. Thanks
