Dropped into LGS yesterday morning for a box of bullets, of which they had none. When I got there, the cupboard was bare. Got to looking around, they had a Ruger SR22 and a Glock .22. Compared the two and decided on the SR22, it fits my small hand better (no, it's NOT true) and I like the white dot sights. Anxious to get it out to the range but has been WAY too hot.

I loved mine - wish I hadn't moved it on.

But now I can buy another and start over.

Yeah, after I examined the SR22, it didn't take much to dissuade me from the Glock, which was a little bigger among other things.

Yeah, I am a lucky guy in that respect. She likes to shoot and when I come dragging a new gun into the house, it's " ooooo, whatchagot there? When can we go shoot it? ".

I see guys posting about sneaking a new toy into the house so the spouse doesn't see it, they must live miserable lives.

I thought I'd like to try an SR22 a few years ago, so I got one for the Wife for Christmas. She loves it, and I get to shoot it anytime I want. I knew she would like it because of the sights.

The Glock Model 44 in .22lr is the WORST .22lr to come thru the gun shop since the USFA Zip Gun.

If your desire is to practice clearing malfunctions, by all means, buy it.

I got my SR 22 with my table at a NRA banquet years ago. Been shooting it ever since. It's the host for my silencer. Used mostly for urban armadillo extermination mostly. Great gun.

My wife love’s hers. I bought the longer barrel model, put a red dot on it and showed it to her. Refer back to my first sentence.

I have both the SR22 and Glock 44, both good little pistols, Glock lovers will find the G44 a fine addition, Glock haters just gotta hate... no intelligent explanation, it's okay we understand.

If you're not a Glock fan the SR22 is a great little suppressor host with ton of add ons available if so inclined, I've put a lot of rounds through mine and would not want to be without one.

Enabler... LGS had one last week - I hope she's still there tomorrow.
