An original Winchester 52 Sporting is high on my list. In centerfire a Barrett Light 50 would be a fun little plinker

The ones I've seen pics of on RFC owned by other RFCers. As if there is not an unlikeable one out there.

A Win 52 is definitely on the menu. I have a BRNO 4, H&R 12, Kimber 82G, Mossy 44US, Mossy 144LSB, and a 52 would round out the group nicely.

I always wanted a Remington Model 7 in .308.

Blued steel and walnut preferred.

My first rifle purchase was a Remington 700 BDL .30-06 back in '76 but I sold that one and bought and sold a ton of firearms since then.

I guess I just never owned a model 7 and I want one for plinking.

Winchester pre 64 model 70 in .222 Remington
Winchester 75 in .22 LR
Vudoo single shot BR
Henry Big Boy Steel Side Gate in .357
Valmet .22 position rifle

A couple of years ago, someone here posted about a bespoke Dorleac & Dorleac .22. Man. that thing was pretty. OP here:

Sheesh, I am all over the place. Do I have to choose just one?

Frank, I sold a nice 52 sporter years ago and could never afford to buy one back. I also sold a nice pre 64 70 in 300 savage to the same person.
Flangster, Winchester never chambered the pre 64 in .222.

A Stevens Visible Loader. I saw one mentioned here and then saw the pictures. Then I looked online and found more pictures and information. I had never even heard of these rifles. I would really like one of them. All my rifles are Remingtons. That's just the way it worked out by chance. But I will happily add one more rifle if it's a Visible Loader. Its nicknames, Risible and Miserable Loader make me want one even more. Especially Risible. If I can find one I can afford it will be my last rifle purchase. Mebbe I should start saving up.

Slim down the fore end a bit, tone down the case coloring, and this might tempt me.

All of them. Same with handguns and shotguns. I like them all.

Actually, this is the Remington Model 7 that I have always lusted for:

Unfortunately, they're rather rare and when available, have tended to cost much more than my pay grade would allow.

Such is life:-)

Kimber Adirondack 300 blk out rebarreled to 204.
Model 7 45 raptor
Model 7 bolt face cut to pps in 7.62x39 or a 77 in 7.62x39.

On the RF side

McMillan stocked ultralight volquartsen 22 wmr.
Stainless lever action 22lr if one ever comes out.
I'll build some kind of a Dakota m22 type clone with a flush fit mag this fall. With a modern twist, proof barrel, carbon stock, and same scope as my main hunting rifle..
