Same here. I've got two good working .22 rifles at the moment, I don't see me adding to that number unless one goes elsewhere.

Also for the new year I'm in the process of refinishing my 527 FS. I suppose it doesn't qualify as a "buy" other than the investment of the 8 - 10 hours of time.
Mr Turbo, I have pictures of similar guns that I saw up at the LL Bean HQ store in Maine, from last year or the year before. Grip caps and tips and the ones I have are of exceptional wood, although yours is pretty nice too. Will see if I can find them.

Found em!

Not rimfire, I have 11 CZ or Brno rimfire rifles already, but I am sure I have a P10 in my future.

I purchased two last year:

452 American in 17Hm2 from an RFC member
452 American in 22LR from Whittaker.

I feel like I have the market cornered

Wow! The wood on those is fabulous. Maybe mine was just a trial run before they tried it on some nice wood.

Do you recall what model(s) those guns were? I think I see a 550 magazine plate on one of them... Did you think those came from the factory that way? Looks like the CZ logo on one of the grip caps...

Thanks for digging up the photos and posting!

Here's what the seller says is a more accurate-looking photo of mine. Pallet wood compared to those above, but I like that type of feature. I should have it in a couple of days so we'll see...

I don't purchase any firearms last year. Probably none this year. Still shooting but I have reached the point where I simply don't need anything else. Still poking around at shops and shows, but nothing speaking to me from the shelves lately.

I have been pursuing my other shooting sport a lot the last few years. That being photography. I have been a Pentax SLR user for over 40 years and went digital almost 5 years ago. I now own 4 DSLR's . And some very expensive lenses. Thankfully Pentax has retained it's backward compatibility so a lot of my older glass still works fine too.

Two trips to Yellowstone last year and hoping to get back out there this May.

In keeping with the spirit of the original poster and lauding his remarkable feat of self control, our local weatherman made the boldest weather prediction I have ever heard. And it was a 100% guaranteed sure thing. On New Years Eve he predicted that January 1st would bring the nicest weather of the year!!!!!!!!!!

Anybody got CZs on their "to buy list"?
I'm doing really well, too. Have not bought a single gun yet this year.

Did someone say CZ? I think I need more.

So far, so good. You're showing great control!

I had forgotten the Gun of the Month Club starts over every January . . . .

I did take a hard look at a Mossberg 46 Mb on the used rack of a LGS but then I saw a CZ 452 American (NIB) online, although I have also been considering a CZ 455 FS, then there is the CZ 527 American 221 Fireball . . . Dan Wesson 1911 . . . Browning O/U Shotgun.

We will have to see what (me, myself, & I) decide.

Well not a complete firearm, I just bought a Mr. Fly Trigger

Sorry to my Southern neighbors but my Canadian supplier cannot sell to you (if you can figure out the logistics of the import laws and get the proper permits then maybe... but the associated fees aren't worth it)
