WOOD LOTTERY FS at KTP!

Log in to see fewer ads
Hi all, for those interested in a great wood, there is a 455 FS in 22lr up at the Kittery Trading Post. I was up in Mine for a few days early in the week with my gunsmith buddy and another gun nut and we hit all the good stores, incl LL Bean (beautiful CZ 30.06 with rosewood or mahogany fore end cap), Howells guns and hi end shotgun place called Coles. We also went for lobster and great pizza. First time up without my wife and kids and it was lots of fun. We also hit the NH liqour store on the way back down and I found a few very nice single malts at good prices. Hope someone here grabs that FS. It was $499 and worth it.

A couple listed in stock online, but no pics, so you'll have to call KTP and see if they'll find it for you.

Fella's;

Or, you could figure that 9 fingers has been around this site awhile & may know what he's talkin' about. All you'd have to invest initially is a phone call to KTP. Have them send you pics of the fullstock & make sure that's the one you'd get. D.I.Y., what a concept!

I was there on Monday to look at a 452 Lux they had listed on their website. It was actually a Trainer. I checked the new CZ rifles and picked up the 455 FS in .22 lr and it is a nice one.

I left with a FS rifle, but it was a Ruger 10/22 International in stainless with matching rings, scope & sling. Should be a good little plinking rifle.

Same here. If I ever wanted to buy a rifle with no barrel, I would have no problem buying it on his word.

You were there Monday? I was there Monday! What time were you there?

PS- If anyone calls about the 455 FS, it is the only one on display and had not a mark on it.

This got my attention. I checked the czusa web store. They dont appear to offer a full stock (aka Bavarian) barrel, with sites and what ever else might be needed. I have seen some smooth barrel rfc solutions. I assumed that was in a desire to dump the sites. I want the sites,beacuse that is true to that style gun. Now, I guess it was a matter of no choice. Am I missing something? Are true FS barrels available? 22mag?

Interesting LL Bean still sells guns! I would have though they were out of that. Nothing in the outlets. So, Freeport still has a gun counter?

I never been to Howells. Is that worth the extra fuel and time?

Fourbore I just looked at the CZ web store and they do have FS barrels for the 455s in stock even the 22mag barrel with sights is there.

Hope this helps...besides they are having a 4th of july 15% sale on every order.

In truth, I didn't think what I said about not being able to get pictures would be taken as a slight on 9 fingers veracity but if he took it that way then I offer my apologies.

My comment was only about what was on the website which says they don't post pictures and I take that to mean they don't provide pictures to choose from. The info available on that rifle said they had 1 or more available in stock so if they wont provide pictures and a serial number with it then I'm not sure how I would be assured of getting what I only heard about second hand?

In any case, since I don't recall anyone saying they have made a request like that from Kittery and affirmed that they will provide the information on request, I wrote them with a request for pictures.
