Found a Winchester Yellow Boy 22 in a LGS today. It is a NIB with all the paper work and hammer spur with it. It was there on consignment from an estate. It is pretty. I like it and I never saw one before but I knew they made them. I may keep it but I might sell it to a Winchester guy. What do you think?

Too shiny to shoot. I would sell it to a collector and buy a nice clean 9422 if it were me. Something you could take out and shoot.

I agree, it kind of reminds me of having a gold tooth.

I also agree also. Just doesn't look right. Would hate to scratch it in the field.

Good find, it would look good next to my other 9422's and my 9410.

I've always liked the Win 94/22's . A very well made rifle . Never knew they made one with a brass receiver . I prefer the blue finish myself ,that's a little too flashy for my tastes.

Cool

If its gold-plating, it has awesome anti-corrosion properties...but easy to scratch...
If its polished brass, ya know ya gotta polish often...or let it develop a patina...
