Marlin 39A wanted

Ive been looking around the local gun shops and have been unable to find a 39A in stock. First of all this will be my second Marlin. I have a 45-70 tha'ts a couple years old and I've had no problems with it. Ive been reading the threads on some issues that some folks have had with theirs but the 39A looks to be choice for me. Ive looked at the Browning and the Henry both good rifles which are either in stock at the gun shop or easy to get. So where can you get a good 39A at a good price these days? I know the price is rising on these rifles. Id really like to have a good lever rifle 22 that I could enjoy shooting and pass on to my son one day.

New ones seem to be hard to come by now. I do not think the new Remington production have reached the market. Gunbroker is you best bet in my opinion.

New Marlin 39a

Just got my 39a today from UPS and it came in good shape. It wasn't cheap though really didn't expect to find a super deal anymore with Marlin's supply drying up. I don't know if Remington will continue with the lever guns or not. The wood looks good on it and the action is stiff as I expected for a new gun but I can work on that. I'm not sure if the rear sight is all metal hope so mabye someone has an answer on that?
