It's one of the ones I need to finish my H&R Reising collection. Some of the parrts on these rifles are Reising designed.

I own two of the H&R 700 a Standsrd that has been used for Foxes for 20 years or more and a Delux that is close to 99% it still has the H&R 4 X Scope

They indeed are nice Man Size rifles mine will shoot 1/2" at 50 and crowd a 1"@ 100

H&R 700

Yikes, had to check my safe to see if mine was still there.

Two versions, plain Jane like yours and a deluxe checkered version.
Good possibility the deluxe came with a H&R scope. Anyone know for sure?

I just ordered two Triple K aftermarket mags for mine. They are still offered. The factory mags are out there, but they command a premium. Like, $90-100 bucks a mag. Needless to say, that's why I got the Triple K. Hopefully they are reliable. I much prefer OEM mags, but when I can get to AM mags for the price of a used OEM, I'll try the aftermarket.
