Man, I haven't seen a lot of CZ, but that is some OUTSTANDING WOOD! Did you pick/hunt it out or just get too lucky?

If it shoots as good as it looks, you got a real keeper!

I found one gun shop within an hour drive of me that had CZ's and they only had TWO CZs and they were both 452's in 17HM2 (just so happened to be what I wanted). There was one on the shelf and the owner said she had another in the back room. I asked her what the wood looked like on the one in the back and she said she hadn't even opened the box on it to see but she would go get it and we would look. She comes out with the box and cuts the tape off and opens the box, immediately we both seen the grain shining through the plastic and we knew it had special wood on it. She comments on how nice it looks and I told her I would take it (I knew before we even pulled it out of the plastic that I had to have this rifle). I thought for sure that she wasn't either gonna sell it or ask for a lot more money but she didn't.

Oh thanks brad.

That was one of my best groups at the time, but now i have done a lot better. About a week ago i shot a 5 shot group measuring .203. I said i shot it at 50 yards, but i am almost sure that i shot it at 60 meters.

I've posted some detail shots of certain parts of my CZ American in .17M2 before, but I hadn't remembered to get any shots of the entire rifle. This stock has good color and dark streaking of the grain, but not the figuring of BDHaleys.

That has very nice wood on it Phil - extremely sharp rifle. Do you have other CZ's too? I only have one other, it's a 527 in .223 but I want a model 3 now.
