Ruger 10/22 M1 carbine

My friend called me last week and said there was a Ruger 10/22 M1 carbine at the LGS where he lives. He loves to spend my money! Two hours later it was on its way to its new home.
Fun rifle to shoot. I replaced the trigger group with the BX group and it is breaking at 2 and a quarter pounds. It is 100% flawless. The accuracy is also there. Would love to do the Appleseed shoot with it.

That is what I used for Appleseed and it is perfect IMO. Lightweight and the added Tech Sights it was just plain fun.

You will enjoy it! Took mine to Florida over Thanksgiving and put another couple of boxes threw it. Same results...it shot everything with no problems. Enjoy yours.

Excellent. The tree rats are in for a surprise when I hunt on Christmas Eve.

Ruger 10/22 M1 carbine

I really enjoy my M1, especially the peep sights. Every time I'm at the range everyone wants to try it,
and they all like it. It is great for training new shooters.
I have always thought open sights first then later use scopes or red dots.

Unhappy just looked at the ruger M-1

looks good, but not good enough for the 389.00 price tag, LGS had 4 in the sales rack. too expensive for a 10/22 in my opinion. I will stick with my chiappa M-1 carbine clone, runs so good and a lot less expensive. looks more like a .30 cal carbine. I know, here comes the rocks and sticks, it isn't a ruger!!

Davidsons (gallery of guns) shows 88 in stock.

or just search for model 21102 and you might find something local.

Have you modified the sights or are they still stock. Also do the other 10/22 mods that are available still work with this rifle? I would really love to get a real M-1 Carbine or a Vietnam era M-16 both of which I used in Nam but too much for my pocketbook. Been looking for a rifle to go to the range with. Looks like fun.

Smile M1 1022

Mine is fun as heck. I have only shot it at a 25 yard range and it was dead on out of the box. next I will try it at 50 yards. That peep sight really works.

Get a surplus M1 carbine sling and oiler to add to the neatness factor.

I got mine for $265 at a show.

I bought one a few months ago. I found them at 3 or 4 gun shops in the Spokane and Wenatchee area. Prices were $319-339. The wood was all over the place though. Some had horrible looking stocks. I looked at 5 or 6 before I picked up mine. I will be doing Tech Sights at some point.

Does anybody know if the tech sight rear sight TS100 is compatible with the height of the Ruger front sight? The Ruger front sight looks much better imho.
