"Tack" Driving Range Game REVISITED. Well this is the first in allowing me to "run" the Tack Driving Game as original started by Houndog.
I go by the screen name of tfrank and can usually be found up in the Mossberg forum or down in the Hunting forum. If you click on my name you can see my stats... I've been here for a while and plan to continue to be here for a while!!!
God Bless, Frank

You can find the original Game at:**
https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...d.php?t=341831

It is now closed so enter all your new targets here. Good Luck**

** Added By Vincent just so you know I edited this into this new edition of this fun game. I do not like to put my stuff into another member's post but it was needed to get things set up for tfrank. Hope he and all our members have a great time. tfrank was one of the earliest members here I got to know fairly well and he is a great guy and VERY talented gunsmith. He did an amazing job relining a Remington Nylon 11 barrel for me to 17M2 (it was impossible to tell barrel from liner!) and his threads on rebuilding some old single shots are great. Look them up some time and I am sure you will be as impressed as I have been. I also want to thank him for taking this game!

Rules...

1. Open to any rifle that meets SuperStock Bolt guidelines.
2. Targets will be shot at either 25 or 50 yards. Each having their own club.
3. One shot at each of the 25 tacks above the sighters. Sighters can be shot at multiple times.
4. 20 "tacks" driven makes the "tack" drivers club with each additional tack receiving a star up to 25.
5. Inner circle must be broken with the bullet hole to be considered driven
6. Once you reached 25 you will have a 5 star "tack" driver and are finished with that rifle.
7. Any ammo,rest, and scope.
8. Must post picture of target, gun, and ammo to be added.
9. No machine rests or return to battery rests

25 Yard Target

50 Yard Target

Printing Tips:

1 Make sure to click on actual size in adobe which sets print scale at 100%. This is located right below the create pdf tab in between the - and + sign. Click on the down arrow beside the percentage value.

2 After you go to print target in adobe and your printer page comes up make sure that page scaling is set to none and it is showing the document and paper size to be the same or 1/1 where the preview is shown.

3 If you printed the target correctly the "Tacks" should be .375 outside diameter.

Have Fun

The one in the first Tact driving game still works or there is one up in Ultimate.

Will go peek - thanks!

I had assumed that if this was a new/revisited game then the targets would be new. Guess I'm just missing something (besides targets)

Can someone now please point this obviously clueless noob to the Rules for Super Stock Bolt?

OK, I think I have...

OK, I think I have everyone up to date!!! If I am missing someone please PM me and I will fix it ASAP.
Also if anyone is interested in a "22cal Plug Gauge W/Magnifier" Champion Shooter Supply has them. The cost was $11.00 and S&H was an additional $2.60!!! I ordered 2 so my bill was $24.60!!! Just in case anyone wants one.
God Bless, Frank.

I just found mine after 10 years of wondering where it was! I do not know how it will work on Tack game but on USBR it was usually good for a few points over not using it. I was always more critical that the plug gage was so if you shoot USBR or tack driver it might be worth having one.

I am trying to think of a reason to keep mine but have not come up with one yet!

Well then I guess that means all of your rifles are 5 STAR rifles and YOU are a 5 STAR shooter and you simply don't need it!!! I wish I had that problem, although I think squirrel hunting might not be as much fun as it currently is.
God Bless, Frank.
