This one is from 1936 and I have added a set of left hand Sanderson stocks.

S&W converted to 25 Stevens Long Rimfire

I inherited this from my wife's grandfather. As you will see a gunsmith, AO Niedner did the conversion. I am told the gun started life as a S&W Russian. Niedner was responsible for inventing the partridge front sight that this gun carries. I'm guessing the conversion was done in the 20's to 30's

The bummer is the ammo is no longer made. When you can find it the cost is between $1 to $2 a round. Canuck last made a run in the 70's The round on the right is a 22LR for comparison.

Kit gun

Here's a 1953 flat latch kit gun. Notice the box says square, but this is a round butt? This is the box it was bought with.

617 with refinished Herret grips. Nothing fancy, but they grip nicely.

A superb example.I'm envious.
At first glance,I thought it a 17-8 Heritage,like one that I had,but it's so much better.

Found this one in a pawn shop. In my part of the world, that just does not happen so I jumped.

My 617 with Red Dot and DS-10 speed loaders. My favorite practice gun.

Sure would like to have a 4" 17-6 to go with it. Maybe one day.
