Glad to hear that. I have 14 boxes of 1000 I was getting into tonight. All mine was bought long before last April. I should check it anyway.

Initially, I had the same thought, but given it is .22 ammo, the likelihood of a disastrous result is quite small. More likely, the cartridge would simply get stuck in the chamber and you wouldn't be able to extract the shell. The probability of any serious damage to the shooter is negligible.

I wouldn't be worried in a bolt gun...But with a 10/22 you'd better wear a face shield! Or avoid that catastrophe all together...

i wonder if this is causing my ammo to have different loudness from round to round...one round is fairly quiet, the next is loud... i guess i need to check my boxes..

edit:
i guess its just really ****ty ammo, my numbers are okay, mine arent recalled.. its very inconsistent. i noticed in my 22 AR conversion and my 1022

I have some that say 3GD42L. I wonder if the 3 before the GD42L means anything or not.

And just when I was beginning to enjoy those four foot long flames flashing out the end of the 4" barrel. Hunt, hunt, hunt for ammo...........and now they want you to send it back. M1911

If it says 3gd52l or 3gd42l it's recalled. Mine had a 3 before the number too. I called and they said to send it back.

I bought mine in 2012, but I checked anyway. My bolt guns would handle the double charge, but I like to shoot this in my CZ 75 Kadet and in any semi-auto could be very bad news.
