Old blades

I spoke with Eric on Monday about obtaining a rod guide for a KKM. Told me he needed to make them up and would send one my way towards the end of the week. Try his email again. I sent several info requests before getting his response in which he included his phone number and instructions to call him. Not sure or not if Eric would mind me posting up his number so I won't at this time. Let me know if you are not successful in reaching him, I may be able to help.

A local supplier replied to a question I sent them RE a KKM bore guide and says that the're able to supply me in a couple of weeks and I see on their site that they deal in Possum Hollow items so might be my best option at this stage.

Cleaning rod guide

Hello all. Spoke with Eric at Possum Hollow about the KKM rod guides eariler today. Found out he is due to make a production run in the next few days. Anyone interested can contact him directly at 321-338-7757. Hope this helps. Also, if anyone knows a trusted source for KKM action screw torque specs please post.

JinGA, Thanks for the update. Did he mention if he ever checks his emails?
Just called the number you posted but his mailbox was full.

Just checked my Walther owner's manual and no mention is made of action screw torquing or specs. Completely unscientific but I have just tightened them until pressure is felt and the screws are snug. The newest KK series may be different.

OldBlades, did not ask Eric how often he checks email. I have never had any problem getting him on the phone. From my past conversations with him it sounds as though his shop is very busy with trying to fulfill past and current orders. I am sure that the recent relocation has disrupted business operations somewhat and will need time for things to settle down. Try calling again during business hours, that is when I have had success getting through. Patchett, thanks for checking. I am hesitant to try the "feels right" method with my rifles. That is not to say that it does not work, I just prefer to follow manufactures torque specs if possible.

Got ahold of him. Kind of a feather in RFCs hat. He knew exactly why I was calling when I mentioned a posting on a forum.

Real nice guy. Thanks for the number JinGA.

OldBlades, you are very welcome. Now if someone would post up Walther's KKM action screw torque specs that would be great. Anyone?
