Just got back from the 2017 shot Show where I found MDT, mdttac.com that makes chassis for 54 and 64 actions. Uses AR stock and pistol grip. LSS-22 chassis also made for Ruger American, Browning T-bolt, CZ 455, and Savage Mark II. Have one on order for a 1710 DHB, will report when I've had a chance to test it out.

Doubtful.Action screws are most likely in different positions. No accommodation for the wing safety either.

This one, I have a chassis from MDT for my Tikka T3 6,5X55, very nice system.

Personally, I would have preferred it if they would have made the .22 systems based on the HS3 center fire version, it offers a full length front end and makes the gun much more versatile than the stubby one, now on offer.

Dean, all 1700 series stocks will interchange, provided that they are for the same style of safety and the same barrel contour.Standard barrel channels will need to be opened up for heavy barrels. Some early side safety guns use the same basic stock pattern as the earlier wing safety stocks,so they will work with wing safety actions.Later side safety stocks will not work with the wing safety actions.
Wing safety stocks will fit side safety actions is a channel is cut on the right side to accommodate the side safety mechanism.

I've talked to Don by email on 2 occasions now and he has no desire to inlet a stock for me. I ask him about a 1712 and a S/A 54 and said he didn't do those.

The last pic you posted labeled as a 64 R BR is a stock I bedded that was made by forum member zorrow. It isn't a factory stock. He should be added to the list as he can make a stock for a 64, 54 Repeater, or 54 single shot and is some of the finest work I've ever seen!

Unfindable stock

Thank you Dean2 for all the places to find stocks for my Savage - Anschuts match 64. The only one that would make a stock for me was McMillen, all the others just gave me a flat NO. McMillen was very good and reached out to help me all they could. I talked to a worker by the name of Max and he even asked me to send the action and barrel to be sure it fit correctly. Great customer service. Again Thanks for all the resources.

You don’t happen to have a nice 54 repeater ( 1710 HB ) target stock somewhere collecting dust ? Or can you make one and get it send to Sweden ??

Light weight benchrest stock for Anschütz 54 Match.

Just received a new -to me- Anschütz 54 Match built in 1979. The rifle is in mint condition and the stock came with all the attachments.

I will be using it primarily for IR 50/50 22 Benchrest competition and I wish to replace the OE stock with a high quality stock, wood or aluminium whatever is lighter.

How much weight can be saved and who makes the best?

The aluminium Anschütz 1918 Precise Stock does fit the 54 Match action but it is not intended for Benchrest.

Will the Anschütz 2013-BR-50 stock fit my rifle or am I better off with an aftermarket custom offering?

Thanks.

A 2013 BR50 stock will not fit your 1400 series action.

Back to the aftermarket then.

Is McMillan a good option and how about this Zorrow?
