It should give you excellent balance with that extra weight right over your hand.

If you are looking for something smaller, let me know and I'll find some quality prospects for under $100
I think the first time I find the battery is dead, I'm going to want something that is auto off after 30 minutes if such a thing exists. I better get me a spare battery for this and put it in my range bag.

If there is such a thing I dont know about it.

The batteries last quite a while. Mine lasted me a year or more before it stopped working on me

I just keep a spare battery in the range bag.

I shot the sight today in full sunlight, it was legible with the sun in my face or directly behind me.

Off of a bag, my pistol shot better then it ever had before, standing up, well, that was better and the sight is showing me things about how I shoot that I don't notice using irons.

It looks like money well spent.

The Sightmark reflex seems bright enough & as the battery gets weaker, just turn up the brightness. I recently put mine on a QD mount so I can interchange with a scope, also on QD mounts. Mount adds about 1/2" height.

I'm glad I could help ya

It really is surprising how different spending varies from red dots to scopes to get ones that will last and are quality.

I still love my sightmark

I buy bulk packs (like 10 to a pack) from Amazon or eBay but I have multiple red dots

Small dot is nice and bright. I don't think I wasted my money.

As soon as I can drill and tap my MKII ruger for the rail, I'll be able to give a shooting report.

Szumi- Burris makes a Mount for the Burris FF3 that slots into the rear sight dovetail of the Ruger MK pistols. It comes with a contoured mounting plate that blends the sight seamlessly & looks Factory.

It might work with your current reflex sight. I have FF3s on a Sig- Hammerli Trailside, S&W 622, & a Ruger MKIII Hunter.

Itís a great little sight for the money, easy to dial in, holds zero well and batteries last a long time.

It snagged me too. Because thatís one of my projects now. But when I looked at the sights they were talking about I realized something was up, and checked the dates.
