I always shoot 5 as well. Just because. It was fine with Ricochet so why worry?

Nice Shooting

There have been a few times I WISHED I had shot only 4!! This is why Ricochet went with 4 shots in his games:

Notice how his walls were covered with targets!

Easy to find that way!

Clem, your 4.37 is still hanging in there for best group. Nice to see you get another rifle in. I especially like another 452. We hear and see written a lot about how the 455 is the equal of the 452, just don't see much of it on paper in the games.

Come on 455ers, post em up!

the 452 varmint that shot the 4.37mm is still my best rifle. it recently shot its best 5 round 50y group ever of .17" and it has 9k rounds down the tube. it recently shot a string of 5 round 50y groups between .18 and .23". its best 25y group is .051, which my new kidd barrel 10/22 build came real close to with an .053". But I have this theory that the varmint doesn't like to lose. For a while my wifes kidd 20" barrel 10/22 was the most accurate and the clark 21" barrel 10/22 was second. then the CZ took the records back with a vengeance. its my favorite rifle, but at this point I save the barrel for high end match ammo shooting at 100y or further. at this point I probably only put a box of ammo through it a year.

as far as the American, it actually shot better with eley club than team this time. which is unusual. this batch of team seems to like dry heat. the mm average of the club for 5 rounds was 8.85mm, but i used that target for the 3/8" challenge. i kind of figured good enough to get on the list is enough.

i may try a reshoot with the American for this game actually shooting 4 round groups next time if that is ok.

Clem, I can find nothing in Sawdust's original rules or Ricochet's rules, or archived questions asked regarding requalifying with new ammo. You are GTG sounds like.

I always forget about the 4 shot rule....so here is my newest entry, 5 shot groups with eley team. my 1965 vintage savage Anschutz match 64. It pretty much untouched other than after having some fliers Saturday I put some bicycle inner tube under the tip of the forend. it seemed to help. longer barrels like this 24" seem to like it...

top left 13.0mm
top right 11.3mm
middle 7.29mm
bottom left 8.48mm

averagw 10.01mm

Good shooting and a even better rifle!

Had one squeaker in there, but the rest sure drive the target down.

Thanks. I might do a reshoot with 4 shots and better ammo. FWIW, this is a 64 match and the other one I have on the list is a 164 sporter. Not sure if you want to designate that on the list.

One 13MM target from my TOZ 78-1

Took a crack at the 13mm fun match with my TOZ 78 on Sun.
Did some barn yard shooting "ye-haw" lol
20 years ago I would have been in a hog yard.

When I do the barn yard shooting I use my portable shooting table and target holder.

The TOZ does all right, she has a nice 2lb trigger pull OEM stock with some lead added in the forearm & some in the butt of the stock.
OEM TOZ stock is too skinny to use my Rock frnt rest & have to use sand bags, some trigger time in for hunting.

Had a good time...

My poor CZ Scout

I failed her in the 13MM games.

I had the ammo & the operator just choked on the last 4 shots too make the club....not once but twice...
had the same thing happen on a target before the one in the picture.....last 4 shot target.

Dang it all.....but did do a few great shots with her @ 50 yards on a warm up
target, these harts were very close to my wood clothing pin & I didn't want
to hit the pin.

Just ticked them but didn't blow up the pin.
My CZ Scout will have another chance next time...

Shot a few targets for the 13MM fun club today, shot with my Russian built CM-2 Cadet.

She loves German made ammo RWS or SK brand ammo.
