Wow, that will inspire some target sight guys. Great shooting Cow54, we might need a color for open sights.

Thanks Trimguy

This was with trainer #2 which is short barreled compared to Long Tall Sally the UL with her 28+" pipe

..but yeah.. I'm starting to like these sights.. like them a LOT!!

If you ever get out to the Pac NW, give me a shout and you're welcome to try 'em both

...cows... ..wondering if scopes are really necessary anyway?

I just re-read the rules.. they say 4 shots per bull... I did 5 shots each.. can I still play?

Ricochet always allowed five shots as it is just that much harder so I doubt that should be an issue. I always shot all of his 4 shot games with five shot groups.

Can't do the open sights but figured I would try and get the Full Stock qualified. 2 fliers on the same target, plus the most inexpensive ss ammo I have and it still made it. Only 4 shots per bull though.

Nice shooting, Robmints ..

I've always liked the FS a LOT.. still trying to convince the Secretary of the Treasury that we MUST have one of those!

They obviously shoot quite well, congratulations!!

BTW, thanks for getting me posted in the game even though cows can't count very well ..

...cows... ...kickin' back at Club UL ..

Thanks Cows. Yes everyone does need a fullstock. Just pull the "they stopped making the 452's, I might not be able to get one if I don't get it now" out again. Of course if you use it too much you might get the eye roll and the finger. I just chalk it up to her having a good sense of humor.

When are you going to get zee row qualified with Denny's sights? The sawdust looks great!! I don't know how you do it.

..Actually, I <have> shot some zee-row groups with the Brno sights... just not enough of 'em on the same target to qualify

...but.... one of these days.... BWAHAHAHAHhahahahaaaaa!!!

..cows... ...need a bank loan to finance my practice ammo habit...!! ...

CZ FS 13mm Club

With a great deal of perseverance, I found that this rifle takes at least 2 to 3 bricks of ammo before it shows how accurate it can be. I would like to thank my grandkids for helping me break it in. (and I hope I'm around when they wear it out!) A beautiful rifle, and a joy to shoot. The G-Kids really like it because it seems to fit them better than some of my other "full size" shooters. With a average of ..304" or 7.72mm, and all groups under 13mm, it makes the grade. With a BSA 36X and BKL rings, it really looks somewhere between ugly and awesome. I've got a Leupold 6-18 that just got free, and may find a home on the FS. ? It grouped better with the Eley Team than it did with the Match. Go figure? How about that .150" four shot group? Why can't they all be like that???? It was a fun day at the range!
Edit: Thanks to all the members in the CZ section. Without their help, this 452 FS wouldn't be here.

Nice shooting, eh?

I don't know what it is about these little mini-mannlichers, but they SURE do like to put lead on the target!

Well done!!

appearantly the old S/A 164 likes to have a dirty barrel and seems to prefer wolf/sk/lapua over eley. this was with center-x.

10.43mm, 4.92mm, 9.89mm, 4.52mm. average 7.44mm
