While testing my new gun vise one of the firearms I used was my Model 25N ducks unlimited. So , while I had it there I snapped a pic to share. Then I decided that it might be fun to see everyone's marlin rimfire bolt rifles.

Here's a random one of the 981T. I'll have to snap a few in the not so distant future.

Good looking rifles all.
There is quite the contrast in scopes between Mals9 and Jbotto. My how times/optics have changed.

In my defense, I had just bought that scope on sale specifically for a different rifle, but I decided to play with it on the 981T for a while! It sure was fun, but now it's wearing something a little more suitable for the rifle.

No need to defend , I actually like the larger scopes and sunshades [not that I dislike smaller scopes]. I was just commenting on the contrast between the 2.

I'm about to make some rather Radical changes to my 25MN, so I'll have to hold off on pics for now

No worries! For what I used to use that rifle for, that scope was too big and clunky. No I have others that have replaced it for field duty so I suppose that scope could go back on...

Very nice looking! I'm waiting for Boyd's to offer a wood stock for the 981T! That would be amazing!
