Gentlemen,

Mah possee of 52's.

Closest: 52E w/ scope (Lyman LWBR 20X) original owner had put on when rifle was new in 1973. The E is simply stunning, a 99.5 % gun!

52C, one of Kenny Leasure's guns (kenny won smallbore @ Camp Perry in 1967). Redfield 3200 24X

CMP 52D Unertl 24X

52D Barreled by Robert Finley (smallbore shooter & gunsmith from Houston Texas area in 60's & 70's). Trigger by Karl Kenyon (need I say more). Action sleeved & stocked by Johnny Chapman (Johnny built guns for the Olympics, he is from weatherford Texas). 36X Sightron Big Sky (on updated SurplusRifle.com design clamp-to-the-blocks cantilever scope base/mount.

me too!!

Hey can i get in on this!!!!!!!! I bought this "C" from the original owner, said it had maybe 300 rounds down the bbl. I don't know how true but i beleived the guy, looks almost new anyway! He said far as he remembers he never took the action out of the stock. I'm leaving it just like it is, i don't see no reason to break the seal -shoots perfect! Ok i am braggin but it's the only 52 i have and i like it, lol!!

I don't have many maybe 10 or so rimfires but the 52C is my favorite. My newely acquired CMP 40X is a close second! joe

52's

Okay, here we go......

This one is a speedlock gun in unmolested condition with a 12x Litschert Scope....The only original gun I have...

This one is a D in an HS precision silhouette stock, the factory barrel has been turned down, fluted, set back and rechambered........Karl Kenyon trigger as well...the gun now wears the Leupold BR 24x shown....The other gun is just an Anschutz 54...

This one is a C Factory barrel has been turned down to a sporter contour, the stock is a 52 sporter stock, 10x Leupold scope, and Canjar trigger...

This one is a C set up to shoot 4 position 50'..........stock is an old fajen.......the hardware is Freeland stuff........20X Unertl Scope, and Canjar trigger....

This one is also a C set up to shoot 50' indoor.........Again an old Fajen stock, All of the hardware is Anschutz, except for the trigger guard, it is Freeland/Winchester International.....scope is a Redfield 3200 24x boosted to 30x by Bill Ackerman.......trigger is Karl Kenyon

And last the newest addition, which is not even in my posession yet.....It is a C Set up for BR shooting, It wears an 8-32 Burris signature, the seller wasnt sure about the trigger, the previous owner said Kenyon, I think it is Canjar though.....The barrel on this one has also been set back and rechambered....
This one is probably going to get tore down and put in a master class thumbhole match stock for 4p shooting as well..............

Thanks jGEE,

This forum has some very fine people. Well worth the trip.

Yea, after waiting over 8 months for the stock to arrive, only to fine it as rough as a ploughed paddock and inlet for (my assumption) an earlier 52 action. I was, shall we say, a little dissapointed.

Can't claim for the fitting as I had it professionally pillar bedded, but yes, many hours and coats of tru oil later the paddock is more of a bowling green. ;-)

Cheers,

Nigel

OK. We all have seen this one. Fairly rare 1931 Speedlock with the 28" heavy nickel steel bbl. # 22164, has a Lyman 17-G front sight and no rear. Has a special order round top receiver. Scope is Lyman 5A, # 2523 and was shipped 5-13-1936. Second model 5A as it has the four point mounts. Ammo is period Winchester Precision Five Star. One of the most expensive and sought after 22 boxes. This is a collectors prize. Big Larry

This is my brand new to me 1932 Model 52. Just received late yesterday afternoon. It has been very neglected. Cobwebs in the bore, heavy surface rust but no rounded over screws and everything is there. I cleaned the bore and lightly lubed the bolt and took it to the range this morning. Very pleasantly surprised. At 25 yards with the irons, Federal 510 ammo and my poor eyesight, she shot .5" groups and functioned flawlessly. I am in love and I haven't even seen how well she will clean up yet. Bob

Not a great picture, but you'll get the idea. CMP 52D that came in the Freeland Stock. I added the Lyman 20X SuperTargetSpot. Shoots better than I do.
