Wink Bolt Action Squirrel Popper's Shoot

Log in to see fewer ads
Chromie recently started a game in the Superstock forum https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forums...d.php?t=279465, there were a couple people that tried to enter with a bolt action. Chromie had no want to start it here in bolt action, so I am taking upon myself to bring it over.

Anyway here are the rules...

Target:
http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/664...rreltarget.png

1) All targets will be shot at 25 yards, with any Super Stock Bolt Action Rifle

2) One shot per squirrel head. touching the circle is a kill anything else is a miss and will not count even if it would have killed the squirrel.
This game will be scored like the zero game only with heads, 4 kills being the min. to make the list, shoot 6 shots and see what you have.

3) Use any ammo you chose as long as it is a factory made Hollow Point

4) Shoot standing with or without a sling, use a shooting stick if you like, but no bench, or bi pod

5) Post a pic of target, rifle and ammo box use for the target.

6) Please state if you used a shooting stick or you shot free hand, or sling..

I'm going to try this with my Romanian M69. That rifle has a sweet little trigger and can get 1/4" groups at 25yards with decent ammo and me doing my part... Too bad I have to wait until sunday to get to the range.

Squirrels... here I come!

Excellent, I'll stop by Office Depot tomorrow and have them make 100+ copies as I think this may take multiple tries for me. These games you guys come up with are sure helping the ammo companies sell ammo!

one thing you might want to do is add bolt in the title to help eliminate some confusion...not to tell you what to do, just a suggestion...

Hmm I Don't think I can edit the title. I go to edit > advanced> and it just changes the little title on top of the post, not the one seen in the list.

You could contact Admin3 or Mr.X and ask them to change the title for you. I could do here in SuperStock but I can not in SuperStock Bolt Action.

This is my kind of game!! Nice.

My off-hand game is perfect practice for this game. I think the squirrel element might be just the ticket!

Yeah I like it, adds a little fun twist to it.

Ahh and its easy on the quantity of ammo needed... which in the current state of things, is a plus.
