Thanks.

It's a Muller APV scope.
Burris Sig Zee rings
KiD base
Butler creek barrel. (not the greatest, but good for cutting down and suppressing)
VQ handle and spring set
KiD trigger with speed mag release.
Harris Bi-pod and Houge stock.
VQ extracter
and a bolt buffer

Stock bolt. This is my next upgrade.

hogue rubber stock
hi-desertdog 18" threaded bull barrel
tru-glo red/green dot sight
tactical innovations tac-65 suppressor
bi-pod that came with my ruger charger

the internals are all polished and has a very nice trigger pull for a stock trigger IMO

....And someone said, " Hogue & ultimate doesn't compute"..I think I have seen some very nice pieces here! I had a tricked out model equipped with Hogue, the hogue makes a fine stock when the rifle is used as intended..small game stopper..

I hunt gophers with a group of VERY serious shooters. I see them at the local gun shows with their custom laminated and wood stocks. When they show up at the hunt their guns are all sporting Hogue stocks. Fence posts and riding around in a 4 X 4truck all day, across the prairie, takes its toll on those fancy stocks.

There's beauty in function.

An ultimate work in progress:

GM SS fluted bull barrel
Hogue overmolded stock with fender washer "bedding"
Power Custom hammer, extractor and scope base
Tasco 2.5-10 Mildot
Volquartsen takedown screw and buffer

The Hogue may get replaced with something else, the wrist angle doesn't work for me on the bench. If I do this, the stock will get recycled on a lightweight build - it's very comfortable offhand.

I just bought my first Hogue O.M. and I am very well pleased with it.
(so much so I just ordered one for my .223 bolt gun)
I think those laminate thumhole stocks are beautiful. But not very practical to carry. Which is not really their intended use anyway I would think.

So there is room for both as Ultimates. Just different types.
