Its a .45, just used some putty that sets rock hard. Filled the shell and pushed it over the factory handle. Had to sit it out a little so it doesn't rub on the receiver.

Have an aluminium .38 special to use for the mag release, will match the charge handle

Thanks... I think I will name it Henry. After Mr. Ford, who said, "you can have it in any color you want as long as it's black."

Great looking rifle. I have been trying to plan a build of a 10/22. Going to order a Houge stock and had myself talked into a GM 16" .920 barrel. Then I seen the pic of your rifle. When you get a chance to shoot it let me know what you think of that Nemoized barrel.

Eabco .17hm2 conversion and Hogue nylon stock. Not much of an "ultimate", but it's a gun that's to be shot and hauled around the farm a lot. I do plan on upgrading the 4x32 scope soon though.

Latest Upgrade

The latest upgrade I've made today to my 10/22 Houge is the addition of a Rock Mount 9"-13" Bi-Pod. This thang is dead steady now!!
These Rock Mount Bi-Pods were going for $70-$80 at a Gun Show this past weekend - Wally World still has them for $39.96.

I don't know that it would qualify as an "ultimate" but here is mine.

Not me shooting.
I have made a few changes since.
I now have KiD trigger and scope base with Sig Zee rings
A KiD or CPC bolt is next on the list.
