Made by Federal for the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association, the 7mm IHMSA, or 7mm International, rounds were very popular in converted XP-100s.

The case is very close in size to a .300 Savage.

The brass case has the ram silhouette on the headstamp.

Non-toxic rounds with an unusual spiraled zinc bullet.

IHMSA80x80,
Nice boxes!

Here's an early .30 W.C.F. box circa 1895

Here's the first .30 W.C.F. Silvertip box circa 1940

old ammo

good day all:
ok you two,i'll throw a couple of old canadian ammo boxes in the mix.
both of these boxes contain the original ammo.
the .30 rem box came with a m14 dob 1912(gun has no model # and the ser# is 212xx) that i got from the original owner quite a few years ago.

enjoy

Here is a photo of an old Peters .25-20 Winchester box that I bought back in July of 1968. Got a few other old "Box lots" of various calibers.

I'll play; this is a box for a neighbor's old Swiss Rubin rifle. Not too terribly old, but the rifle sure is!!!

I know, old thread. Just thought I would see if there was any new interest.

A short-lived box. The end flaps don't open, you twist the right end of the box to break the perforations, then the box end hinges down so you can pull the amm tray out.

The 1992 Palma Match was held in Raton, New Mexico. This ammo was loaded for the match by Jensen Custom Ammunition in Tucson.

The only loaded ammo Thompson/Center has ever offered.

Still sealed box, don't know what the contents are, except FA .30-06 cases.
