That looks so badass with the 8.5" barrel... I just couldn't justify the $200 tax stamp and the wait to SBR a 10/22... yours looks rad though. Good job.

- Woody

P.S. Assuming that you did register it SBR.

I'm from Canada, so as long as the overall length is 26" or longer I'm good to go.

Here's mine. I had a machinist friend mine shorten my 20" fluted Butler Creek barrel down to 18" and thread it to 1/2x28 tpi rimfire threads (I got the barrel used a while ago).

here is the latest version of my Nordic.......think it is almost were I want it....still gonna Duracoat it....thinking OD and Black.

The railed forend started life as a POF Predator rail.
Intergally Suppressed S.S. barrel
Kid Trigger
Ace Stock and Folding Mechinism (may swap this for the push button folding mechinism from ACE)

Just Finished Milling the rails off of the side of the forend, so it is still bare aluminum.

anyone post pics of a nordic setup using a standard or a modified standard ruger barrel? I happen to have a brand new ruger barrel sitting here. Would like to see what could be done with a factory barrel. Cory

It is crazy that a country with Canada's tight gun control laws would allow a sweet gun like that! For a brief moment I wished I was Canadian...a very, very brief moment.

Has anyone figured out how to fill in the gap between the pistol grip and the trigger guard?

Since the Nordic is a dress up kit, might as well dress up the stock mag. This may not be for everybody, but to me, it does look better

Thumbs up Full size magazine in the picture

I'm not sure how to reply so I hope this does not post twice.

Hi rotaryeye,

How did you do the full size look mag? I assume they are not available anywhere?

It really looks good.

Here's mine... standard factory barrel, though it has an E&L barrel shroud... I just like the suppressor-look.
