I guess I better pop that barrel out of my glenfield 25 and re-chamber the with a winchester 52D chamber

I think I could shoot sub-1/4" groups at 25 If i fix up the trigger a bit and bed the action, and buy some expensive ammo...

H&R model 12 should be Varmint Class.
I've been wanting one of those for awhile now, so I've got it's category in my mindset.

oh yeah them heelers. this one was abandoned as a pup. thought it was the roughest looking little pup I'd ever seen. she was just looking for a place to get out of the rain and wound up at my house. there she sat cold and wet. had to take her in and I must say it was a great move on my part. after cleaning her up and drying her off man what a dawg. went to get a red heeler at a pound a couple years ago but it was already gone so I wound up with a hound. they enjoy each others company but the heeler is in charge haha.

Well no chance to try the club again today looks like the wind is going to blow forever here. Looks like maybe this weekend the wind will be low enough to try again.
Sure am hoping the wind will lay down want to try and get the CZ in this, so I can move on to the Savage in the this club and the 13mm club.

Is this true? The H&R 12 is allowed for the SS varmint class? I hope so.

I just read the Varmint SS bolt rules. It looks like the H&R 12 fits in nicely. Now I have another one to try to make the list with. I need time to shoot is what I need. I hope it's not windy Sunday.

This is my H&r 12. It's pretty much stock except for a little trigger work and a new stock. I never warmed up to the stock that came with it.

I just wish I had half the talent you and your dad had to refinish and work on rifles that you to have.

Man that is another fine looking rifle. I have to say the FS is my favorite , but this one, well lets just say it snaping at the heels of the FS.

Great rifle look forward to seeing how it groups.

Iron sight class? I'm going back to read ALL the info on SS bolt. I missed some stuff.

Yea Que, I made that stock when I got my H&R 12 from CMP. The stock that came with it looked like it was carved from a railroad tie with a prison shank. The metal was wonderful. It just didn't seem right to leave it in that stock.

OK, Vince. I think I have a target. Take a look:
Click on thumbnail for the full-size pic.
I managed to get this one, in SPITE of the wind. (the wind was not quite as bad this morning, only 5-10mph)
Ruger 77/22VBZ rifle. Simmons Prarie Master 6-18x40AO scope. Jard 2# trigger. Wolf M/T ammo. Measured 25 yards. Shot from my "custom" bench. (read: picnic table) Boyt ADG rifle rest. (on sale from Midway for $37.49)
