Tony thats the V24. did me well. first time shooting the rifle but I've had it for a few months. got involved with pirates as you know and just never got around to shooting it.

the dawg....... man she is something. can't say good enough about her. smart and loyal. she took to me for some reason and will not let me out of her sight hardly. even when she looks like she is sleeping those ears move at the slightest sound. never had a heeler before but I'm sold on them now.

Well gave it a try today and it just wasn't meant to be. Every time I started working in the yard the wind would die down, and every time I tried to shoot it would pick up again, LOL.

Savage favored the Remington subs while the CZ shot the 510's better. Just neither one shot good enough to make the club.

CZ

Savage

Click me

May have enough rounds for 2 more try's then its quits till the 1st of the month and a pay check gets here. Course if the IRS would send me my check that would help also.

T
Keely, the is SuperStock Bolt Action. There was never any intent to keep these rifles stock, quite the opposite. This is about tuning stock rifles to a much higher performance level. Stock rifles ARE welcome here of course.

Myself, I intend to have one that is pretty much stock and another that is not a whole bunch stock about it.

Well, well, well - I thought I was the King of sneaking off from work to shoot. Que, you now have the crown. Good job and great groups. That's the way it's done in Sweet Home Alabama!

I'm in that same mode...
I have an SS/A that is 'stock appearing' only... and an SS/B that is strictly (antique) stock.

Both will be players in the games.

Que I know that is an old target rifle but what is it here?

I will honor both Sporter and Varmint in this Challenge but I need to know what to post. It LOOKS like a Varmint class.

What say you?

Besides MY Austrailian Cattle Dog or Blue Heeler as they like to be called in TN wants to know.

Que,
Still thinking about letting it go visit your Model 12, think it could learn something from it. Hopefully when the wind dies it will do better.

Rico , Wish Uncle Murphy would go away. He has been messing with me ever since I got home. Was hoping the subs would be magic to the CZ but the Savage liked them better. The CZ just didn't take to them today.

Not to get off topic, but I could talk about heelers all day! I grew up with them and miss them everyday. My wife and I are close to adopting one from a rescue group here. And to keep this about guns... my local gun shop has a red heeler as a shop dawg. She is a hoot. I just love them. And you are right Que... they are extremely loyal, and always on watch. They also like to chew on tractor tires... while they are in use!

COME ON WEEKEND!! I wanna shoot!
