when i get bored;

even targets are not safe. a bit of a visual aid.

at my age, even if only @ 25 yds and the scope up to 12 - 14x these little thingees help me. 1/2" dots, and if i can get 5 rounds INSIDE the circle then
i'm doing pretty good with cheap ammo, LOL. not too often, but does happen.

plus it helps the boredom, kinda like arts and crafts time. LOL,

rico....

Rico,

Whats that target printed on? Looks bigger than normal and almost like poster paper, especially the way its standing up all nice and straight. You must have scared the heck out of that paper., LOL

rigger, anyone who may be innerested,

i like to use *index stock*, "110 lb" paper, 250 sheets about $14.00.

a bit pricey, but makes nice clean holes. wanna try something a bit lighter, around 66 lb paper, but dont have it here. any computer store should have it.
i get mine at radio shack here, and comes in a wide variety of colors.
this is the standard size; 8 1/2" x 11"

rico....

Rico,

Finally found some card stock last week at Sam's Club. Will have to get some maybe next time home.

Also I remember someone saying they would like a fine line fun shoot target. So when I was bored last night I redid one to have fine lines. Original by Opsmgr, modified by me.

Talk about walking to targets:

Amanda and I have been shooting Golf balls the last few days! Not so bad when you do it like we used to on a steep hill in the desert. On a range that is almost billard table flat (who ever carved this range out of the side of the mountain, plus filling in the the bottom of the "hollow", REALLY knew what they were doing. It does not slope side to side or front to back!) those crazy little balls go along way when hit solidly. I think the best fly/roll we got was 45 yards or so and several balls made it to just feet from the 100 yard board!! We have done our share of walking this week.

I'm going to have to get some golf balls and try this. It sounds like allot of fun.

Here 's one to try at 25 yds

If you touch the outside black ring it's a miss.
One shot at each one, should print with the id just under 1/2"

rigger,

since you are on a sea cruise and have nuttin to do, can you re-do , or modify those targets with a thicker x-hair for those of us with a duplex type scope, which is kinda thick, and i like to "see" the target x-hairs super-imposed on the scope hairs, does that make cents? LOL,

thanks,

rico.....

Forgot one

Made one for club tries to record my setting and conditions.

Be sure to check your printer setting though ACDC looks like it will print it right but MSN paint doesn't want to unless I adjust my settings on the printer.
