Its a Crickett by Keystone. Basically the same little gun as the Chipmunk.
It weighs around 2.5 pounds and is sized appropriately for the little ones!

Here is a couple of my 10 yr old daughter shooting her Remington 580. I had a 540 Jr stock bedded to the 580 action and lightened the stock by cut down the forend. Target is 50 shots at 40 meters 48 hits out of 50. Hope to get her shooting off hand next year and may shoot a few matches with me. Sorry for the grainy pictures all I had with me was my phone. Thanks, Paul

Here are some pics from our place in East Texas. We take a bunch of friends out there every fall:

(She doesn't have her shooting glasses here as she's just 'glassing' the targets):

This is my youngest. He doesn't get live rounds yet. He gets a kick out of the click when he dry fires:

His main job is 'clay master':

That would not be far from my parents place then.
They live on the road between Hwy 7 and Apple Springs bordering the Davy Crockett NF.

We live on Hwy 69 South of Hwy 7 towards Lufkin.

I am still trying to get over this crud so the kids and I didn't get to go squirrel hunting over the holidays.

It is a small world in which we live.

Yeah they liked the Enfield a bunch. I put a rubber guard on the scope as a precaution though, can't send them home to mom with "Scope Eye" now can I? I'd be the bad Uncle. Was a great day, my girls really like to shoot.

Along with a scope mount and a pink camo carrying case... plus I will add a red dot scope... she will be in heaven!

Is that the Savage Cub? I was thinking of getting one for my daughter. How does it shoot?

My bad...saw it's the Cricket. What do they normally cost? Anybody have experience with the Savege Cub?

yea man, i could see moms expression, and from the kids at school. what kind of approach did you take to get them to shoot, or was it pretty easy to encourage them to do it?
