Woo Hoo !!! My Houston Astros will be in the World Series again !

I went to my first Astros game when I was 6 years old, I'm 61 now and have been to literally hundreds of games since. The last 5 years have been wonderful for this old Astros fan. I suffered through many tough years, some with over 100 losses.

My Grandson and I will be there Tuesday night for the first game. Go Astros !!!

Since this is RFC after all, I'll add a little side note....

Through me my grandson has learned firearm safety, how to shoot, and he has developed a love for it. He's helped me build a couple of AR's, and he also has taken several deer with the buck in the picture being his best so far...

2019 World Series

Should be a good one, lots of strong pitching on both sides.

And...it ain't gonna be a Yankees/Dodgers bi-coastal snooze-fest that the TV networks love, but the fans hate.

Good Luck to you and your Astros.

I slipped out of MD Anderson hospital in a dirty gown cart......jumped the fence and took a seat myself...Saturday night.

Put my camera on sepia for some shots. I was back in 1957 again.

Bottom of the 9th, two outs. Jose walks to the plate. I wonder what he was thinking????

The last pitch of the game.....which would be hit, hard, over 400' and win the playoff.

Jose, all 5'6" and 160 lbs of him, MVP.....Baseball, where size doesn't matter. What a great game with some outstanding plays by Houston.

I have a ticket to Tuesday's game. I'm carrying ear protection this time.... 1917

Even though I live closer to D.C. I am for the Astro's since they are American League. I'm also grateful that they kept NY out of the series.

It was an awesome experience. Minutemaid Park was crazy loud, and fun.

Well...everything was fun but the final score. Astros left a lot of runners stranded. Can't win games like that. Hopefully we'll win tonight !

Grandson was super excited about being at a World Series game. PawPaw was pretty pumped too !

Last night

I was expecting a lower scoring game with Cole and Scherzer pitching. Now, who knows?

Very cool that you and your grandson got to share that experience.

I

don't think the Astros know what hit them yesterday! I'm betting that the Vegas Odds on the Astros are going down.
