Sig Mosquito question

Shooting yhe Mosquito yesterday. Loaded 5 rounds. The first few mags functioned fine. After that, the 5th round consistently failed to load from 2 different mags. The rounds were dented, as the slide rode over them and they stovepiped. Any suggestions ? Used 2 types of ammo Blazer 40 gr and S&B 38 gr.

Probably not a popular or nice opinion on a solution, but my solution was to get rid of the mosquito. Best thing I ever did was to rid myself of that piece.

They are known to be temperamental...

Clean and lube it well. Try CCI Mini Mags.

I almost bought one a while ago, but went with a Walther PPQ .22 instead. I also have a TX22.

Both have been good, but I only shoot CCI Standard Velocity in them and pretty much all of my .22s. My son shoots other stuff in them, and the Walther can act up. The TX doesn't care (but they can have other issues).

My answer is similar to Glockpride. I can't think of any 22 auto that shot worse than my Mosquito. Trade it for anything else.

Mosquito

Had one for about a year now.. Itís the sweetest shooting 22 semi auto, Iíve ever had,,,accurate, functions flawlessly. Would like to say more, however my wife has decided it is hers,,, and she shoots Ďkillerí with it.

I had one of these for a couple of years and every type of ammo except for CCI mini mags had feeding and ejection issues. Plus, with the CCI Mini Mags, the thing was horribly inaccurate. It frustrated me so much I finally got rid of it.
