Im not really a full stock guy, but to help out, Id buy an Hm2 and a 22LR. Maple would be even better, but walnut would be fine.

I'd be in for at least a couple, starting with HM2 and 22 LR.

A Bunch,

I don't NEED any more, but what's need got to do with anything?

I've got 5 grandkids so 5, 457 22 lr and 5, 527 caliber unknown ( I've only got 1 in .223/556.) I waited way too long to fall in love with those funny looking Euro stocks.

I did, however, recently score a Mannlicher- Schoenauer model 1952 in .270 complete with the claw mounts and a German 6X scope. It's a FS WITHOUT the Hog Back. I know it's not rimfire, but neither is a 527 and a fellow has to brag when he can!

I am a FS fan and I would get one in 17HMR. While they are at it, if the good folks at CZ would please consider offering a Double Set Trigger option I would get several. If there is a FS DST 17HMR out there, I'm looking for you.

Fugio, I don't own any DST, but I do have a CZ 453 American in 17 HMR with the SST, and it shoots tiny, tiny groups. Funny thing is, I shoot it better with the standard trigger. I don't understand why, maybe lock time? In any case, it's the next best thing to the DST, and the fit and finish, especially the bluing, is head and shoulders above my 452s and 455s.

now look at this there have been almost 1600 views on my post and only 43 members have said something about getting or wanting a 457 FS...Thank you for the members that said something ...the others of you out there thank you for looking but we need a ton of you to keep posting that you might or would love to get a FS and if you never held one or think they are short and ugly like I did before March of 2015...let me tell you they are one of the finest hunting rifles you can use. Sure not every firearm will fit you like a glove...but the FS rifles style has a lot going for it.

Just a little pep talk to keep this ball rolling...I would like to see over a 1000 members saying some thing about a FS and if you don't have anything nice to say do what your mom told you to do and say nothing at all.
