My 457 is a Trainer, because it was the cheapest, and because my first CZ was a 452 Trainer.

The 452. Sadly no pics of the new one...

Customization is the act of making a firearm uniquely yours, time honored.

457 22 Mag then finally as I was about to give up on a 24" At One it came & was worth the wait IMHO. I had given up & put $25 down on an1416 Annie. Just bought some dueling trees & what a blast 85, 100,200 & 300 yards, 3.5" paddels work even at 300 shooting subsonics but I bought a Marlin 99 so I can just run up the line & smoke my shooting buddy. What a blast I ordered 2 more.

It took a few months before I happened to be here when I got an email from one of the wholesalers I have an account with, saying that they'd just received several of the MTRs, and I managed to snag one. The stock wasn't anywhere close to as stunning as some of the CZs that Gerald has managed to find, but it's decent in my eyes - there's some minor figure in the buttstock, but the nicer figure is up front in the forend (where it's likely more of a liability than an asset), and it shot so much better than the American did...

Eventually, I replaced the American's factory with a Shilen select match ratchet rifled blank, which I fitted, chambered, finished, and glued into the action with Loctite #609 - and it shoots about as good as I'd hoped it would. I was so satisfied with the first Shilen that I decided to put another one on the MTR. So here they are - semi-custom 457s that satisfied my desire for very accurate CZs.
Those are a very nice set of "Twins" for sure!!!!

I'm still waiting for my CZ 457 MTR - .22 - to come into the UK. I bought it in July, and was told that it would be a 12 week wait, but the expected delivery is now the end of November.

I just hope it's worth the wait!

Which 457?

Ordered my MTR about 7 months ago. Sad part about the CZ line is "you can't just have one"! Looking
at Gerald's I think the next one will be ....

457 MTR in 22lr. Very happy with mine. Not quite as accurate as my 452MT in 22lr but it is slowly getting there.
