Your not kidding. We love CB&C. We put small "salt" potatoes with the skin on in the last hour or so of cooking. They stay whole and don't turn to mush like big potatoes cut up. Then served with melted butter and cold beer. The following 24Hrs can be entertaining.

Just had lunch with my colleague at work whos uncle was CEO of Hormel. I asked if he had any cans of regular spam at home and if he can throw me one. Said he had cases of the stuff. Im gonna get a can and fry some up with eggs. Well see how it goes.

Seeing you are one of the uninitiated you should sing this while cooking Spam. Get the pan hot with a little oil and toss a slice in. Sing this once then turn it over and sing again. Should be crisp on the outside and Spamilitious in the center.

They eat it because they're sick of sashimi deep fried in coconut oil or sumpin. Send em some Sportsman Warehouse good ole MREs. I hear they're pretty good.

One of my old favorites was Kraft mac & cheese + cubed/fried Spam. Substitute 1/2 of the butter in the standard Kraft recipe with bacon grease.

We never had spam but we sure had a lot of that deviled ham because my granddad loved the stuff. I had fond memories of it until I found it at Costco recently and bought some. Boy, was that stuff SALTY! Funny what you remember from years ago is many times no where near as good as what you remember!

Philippino people use slices of spam with rice and a seaweed covering. It's actually not a bad way to use that stuff.

Whoever recommended the "low sodium" Spam...thanks !

Sliced and fried up a can of that this weekend, I like it a lot better than the regular Spam. A little less salt tastes better !
