Threaded Sporter Barrels?

Log in to see fewer ads
Hi all- I've got a .22 can on the way and would love to suppress one of my 10/22 Carbines. However, it's looking like the Ruger factory threaded barrels are running about $220 (hard pill to swallow considering I paid only $169 and $179 for my 10/22's the past couple of years).

Are there any more affordable threaded 10/22 barrels with the factory sporter profile?

If I'm footing $220 for a new barrel, I might as well knock out a totally custom build for twice that!

Thanks but I can't find a single threaded barrel with the sporter profile. I might be looking in the wrong place though...?

Do you want a factory sporter profile barrel with or without sights? After market factory sporter profile threaded barrels with out sights are readily available. Sometimes factory threaded barrels with sights are available in the classifieds here, other forums, ebay, etc.

Quick googling found this:

If you got a barrel already.
Send it to Jim and let him work his magic on it and move the site and thread it.
He did mine.
I think it was around $140 or so.

You should be able to use a TCR 22 barrel you could find them as take offs. I know I have a couple of 10-22 barrels I would like to pass on. I am holding on to my TC barrel since it is threaded.

Check out Feddersen barrels. Very accurate and they only charge an additional $25 for threading.
