I have a H001T rifle and would like to know the thickness of the cover where the scope mount dovetail is. I am going to drill and tap the cover for a peep sight and would like to know how thick it is so I can get a screw for the sight. TIA.

IDK the exact thickness, except that I know it's thick enough - just shorten the mounting screw(s) if they're too long.

There is, however, an easier way - get a Skinner clip-on receiver sight that uses the scope mount grooves. (Yes, your rifle will need a new/taller front sight blade in order to achieve zero)
