CCI 946 Xmas 22lr for 2019

Looks like it's available at a few places. Too bad it's not sv, but the usual hv in red and green in 400 round plastic containers. 3200 (eight plastic cans) per case. Looks like everyone's advertising it today. A few below.

Wow, $30 plus shipping and tax at Midway. What a rip off.

I wonder if you shoot a squirrel with the green ones will they go faster . ANd you need the red to make them stop.

Good luck trying to hit something if it's like the red/green Xmas before. All my guns hated the stuff. Ended up giving it away after I sent a sample back and was told 3" at 50 yards was acceptable.

I know lots of folks liked the stuff though.

I tried the R,W, & B and was very disappointed. I'm a bit hesitant to try them again.

Same here.
Even tried some of their "clean 22" which is pretty much the same stuff. It did not fare much better.
I do not foresee me buying anymore of the coated 22's.

I had the same results too! ended up giving it away to my niece to shoot in her 10/22 while out shooting cans...

I like shooting it for speed steel runs great and seems very clean.

WOW! The price makes me glad I bought two cases of SV when they had the rebate.

I get excellent accuracy with the poly coated ammo in my Anschutz rifles and some of my other rimfires but not all my firearms will shoot them well. The only way to find out is to try some.
My experience has been the Christmas and the Red White & Blue ammo shoot equally well. I recently bought some pink coated ammo but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I'm expecting it to shoot just as well.

I found some the blue coated CCI at a local shop and shot some at 25 yards. Still not my favorite or most accurate but it was better than the RWB stuff. I would buy more for my pistols for plinking if the price was right.
