Hello

I have an older model 60 rifle that my dad gave me as my first rifle. The old style feed throat wore out. I recently decided to revive this old guy. Mostly just sentimental reasons. Here is what I got so far. I am running into some issues trying to intermix these parts.

Can I purchase a new style trigger guard and be done? I’m worried it won’t fit with the stock? Or can I just add a slot for the LSHO lever in my older trigger guard ? Is there any other fitment issues I will encounter ?

New style action from eBay
New style bolt ( matches the shape of the feed throat)
Old style trigger guard
Old style stock

Thanks and God bless !

Stock can be easily modded for the new style trigger guard. I recommend using the metal one from DIP(board sponsor) Much nicer that the stock plastic part. You could eliminate the LSHO and get by w/o any stock mods too.

Inleting the rear area for the trigger guard, and some minor re-leaving of the area for the LSHO plunger/indicator.

Easiest and quickest way would be to install a new style feed ramp kit (and a new buffer yours looks like it's seen better days) then go shoot the stew outta it.

And may I suggest the DIP with the wider trigger combo kit?
It does nice things for your finger
