I have three options to choose from in my spare box a weaver rv9, a athlon neos 4-12, and a vx-freedom EFR.

For hunting and if you think you will go as far as 100 yrds on squirrel Id choose the 4-12 if its not bad in low light. Thats just me and my eyes though. Im trying to choose from a 3-12 or 4-16.

I got mine today, hope that it shoots as good as it looks. I'm going to put one of the Bushnell A17 3.5-10x36 AOs on it.

I ended up going with the freedom efr sitting in a dnz. I may switch to higher power if I feel the need for it while hunting.

I got mine yesterday, 10/02/19. It is a nice looking rifle and is begging to be scoped, zeroed, and carried into the hardwoods in search of fox squirrels.
