How much might a 1929-1932 era new like Model 52 target cost?

Here's one for 2k

I'd be very worried about the claim "Special Order Winchester Blueing" And I wouldn't make a move unless Seewin/JWA and or a few others blessed the rifle because this one looks re blued to me. All of the older one's I've seen have little/no blue left on the magazine well

Thanks for your time to take a look for me, Jammer22, plus the good advice tips as well, but I don't think we need their blessings on this one!

Condition is just about everything on pricing. I've seen them all over the place for pricing, but selling is another story.
I would expect a rough one, but still intact and in shootable condition to run in the $400-$600 range. A pristine one in original condition with all the options could be in the $1K-$1500 range....

Reblued, no doubt about it. All stamping is dished out on the edges of the digits by a buffing wheel. Even the back of the cocking knob has been funnelled out. Not bad if it has a good bore and you don't mind the refinishing. Just a lot too much -- you could buy a decent one and have it refinished a lot cheaper than the starting price.

Early 52s

Shooter grade Pre-A with average bluing wear and stock marks, with original sights, barrel band will sell in NE Ohio for $500 or more, better condition equal more $s. I got a nice slowlock with good bluing and minimal scuffs for $700 awhile back. Check out GunsInternational, usually 50 or more 52s listed and many have reasonable pricing, good place for a rifle/scope (Lyman, Fecker, Unertl, Litschert) combination.

Well "like new" and 80+ year old rifle usually means refinish or... (worse)

Seewin and JWA (and others) really are the experts on these rifles, I mean real experts. I'd take their advice even if I'd worked at Winchester building these. (they ARE that good)
Good Luck

I'd like to thank everyone for the comments and effort they put forth in response to answering my question. For the present, I have put this hunt on hold, but might take it up again in the near future.

Jammer22, I totally agree with your comments including your advice where Seewin and JWA are concerned, to include, folks like Big Larry.

Again, my thanks to everyone who responded.

James
