Question Left-side charging receivers?

I'm looking for a left-side charging receiver. The only two I can find are from Tactical Innovations and Tactical Solutions. Does anyone know if I've missed any?

Thanks!

Magnum Research makes their Switchbolt model as a complete rifle. They may offer a receiver only option.

Cool, I didn't know about them. I'll check it out. Thanks for the tip!

I picture that little girl saying "Why not both?"

TandemKross makes their "Advantage" charging handle w/pic rail. For $70, you can turn any receiver into a left-side charger. And still have a handle on the right side too.

Just my experience with this product (I am a fan and own a lot of TK stuff) but the handle they put on there is way too small and it requires a lot more force to chard the handle than a true left side charging handle.

If they made a larger rounded charging handle on it then maybe it would have worked better for me but I ended up selling mine to my buddy who just wanted a scope rail for cheap.

It's a great idea just for me it didn't work well.

OP - if you have a handy machinest/gunsmith you can make your own on an existing receiver. I had one made and the hardest part was finding someone to do drill and tap the bolt for a handle (Que ended up doing and insert but he has retired since then). I love the left side charging handle and I am probably going to be buying and Elite 22LC soon (would have bought it instead of rolling my own if it would have been out back then).

The Magnum Research looks awesome but it looks like you have to buy the complete rifle and I have not been impressed with the MR barrels (only 2) that I have shot compared to Kidds barrels YMMV

For a true left handed receiver wouldn't you have to mirror image the bolt and charging handle and move the extractor cut on the barrel?
Would the ejector on the magazine still work? And the one in the trigger group?

No, all you really need is a custom charging handle and a slot in the left side of the receiver for it to protrude from.

Sorry I guess I should have said: "Left hand charging, right hand ejecting"

makes charging and manipulating the bolt very easy. Mine has a charging handle on the left side of the bolt (unscrews to take it out) and a normal (Kidd) one on the right side. It has been super handy for target shooting, hunting, and plinking.

Depending on the vintage of the receiver, cutting a slot may cut into the serial number. We don't want the ATF getting upset.

Depends on where you cut. I cut mine low enough and back enough to leave the serial number no problem. Just had to drill and tap the bolt.
