Last week, I found and purchased a used stainless convertible single six...My paperwork is in, and get pick it up tomorrow!

The revolver dates to 1985 and is in very nice shape. I paid $400 for it, which might not be a screaming deal, but I was happy with it.

It currently has very plain hardwood grips, which I'll eventually switch out for rosewood laminate, or other laminate grips.

Any suggestions on a holster?

Thanks,
DW

I have two, my 5.5 inch has a thumb break holster I got from ruger and my 6.5 has a galco outdoorsman. The galco rides higher and is a bit stiffer so its a little more comfortable to me but you can't go wrong with either.

I second the holster from Ruger. I like the fit and finish.

Look at 'western' style shoulder holsters.

How do you like the one from Ruger? Do they have a similar holster for the 6-1/2"?

To the OP: You will love your Single Six. My stainless is a great shooter. I have no trouble tagging golf balls at 25 yards, and I'm an old guy with not the best peepers.
