Volquartsen Mamba with C-More

I tried the Vortex Venom for the past 6 months and it's a good sight but after this weekend's Steel Challenge match I had to change back to my C-More.

I kept loosing the dot because it wasn't bright enough to see in the very bright sun. The C-More is brighter and the dot is much larger, 12 MOA compared to six in the Vortex.

thanks

I went with the Burris FF III with 3moa dot as I mostly will be shooting for precision, not speed but this is good info on the CMORE. What model CMORE are you using?

I'm using the C-More Railway with a 12 MOA dot now on the Mamba and my backup Mark IV 22/45 Lite.

Black Mamba Grips

AZ, are those Majestic Arms 22/45 wood grips pictured on your Mamba? If so, any comments about fit, finish quality and grip feel performance?

Curious as I have two Volq improved 22/45 frames fitted with LLV 4.5" and 6" uppers and really like the look of yours.

Also, are there any figured wood alternative sources you know of?

Tks, Tooter

Those are Herrett Stocks. I have them on both my Rugers.

Altamont also makes some nice grips.

Herrett grips

Very nice indeed. I just emailed them an inquiry for two sets in cocobolo.

Other note, ordered stands today from HP Tactical. Wish I had them for the Volq trigger/accuracy kit installs.

You've blazed a lot of trails for me. Thanks AZ,

Tooter
