Precision Quest rest help

I bought a Precision Quest one piece rest and it does not fit my 52D forearm. It fits stocks 3" wide apparently. My shooting buddy tells me there is a company that makes a set of adapter blocks to fix this problem. However, he did not remember the company name. Maybe A.A.something in Minnesota? Anyone know the name/web address of this company?

Mwerks in Michigan, http://www.mwerksllc.com/plates-win52.php
Purchase one of their bore guides while your at it. Best ones made in my opinion.

hope that's not it!

Thanks for the reply, but I hope that's not what my buddy was thinking of, as my 52D does not have an accessory rail. It has an all wood stock, which is maybe? unique to 52s bought by the military (this is a DCM-purchased heavy barrel rifle).

Stock may not be original. Got pics? My CMP 52D certainly had a full length rail.

If there's no rail it's NOT a factory stock. Post some pics and maybe someone can ID it

I feel like an idiot

I got out my 52 and flipped it over and sho nuff it has a full rail. I just hadn't paid a blind bit of attention to it. Jeff at MWerks is going to call me back this afternoon so I can get a plate on order.

Jeff is a good guy, glad everything is working out.
Don't forget the bore guide if you value your barrel.
