Thank you and everyone. I am not a bit worried about the surgery. My grandfather had it done, my father and my uncle who no longer wears glasses at all. I am looking forward to it actually. Good luck with yours friend.

Do you have a link? I may have a model 60 in need of glass. I can't see the iron sights as well as I once could.

Another help question

Like many of you know, I have sold most all of my guns to pay my bills. I have two that would help me get through a few months, but.... I would want the promise I could buy them back when I get back on my feet. If Sophia feels this is not permitted here, then I understand. I have a like new Colt New Frontier with both cylinders, no box. I also have a custom built .223 varmint rifle. I hate for these to go as the .223 is by last bolt action rifle I own right now. The revolver was a dream gun that I hate to see go, and this is why the hopes to be able to purchase them back. You can just PM me if this is a possibility, and Sophia, if you want this as an add, I can redo it. Thought it might get more views here, but let me know and I will remove this and try to make it as an ad. I know its a long shot, but it a shot.

Link to scopes for sale by Gizzy

https://www.rimfirecentral.com/forum...o=ad&id=242335

photos at the link, but here is the description:

have a few scopes that need to go. All prices are shipped to the lower 48, and due to my vision issues and not being able to go to the bank myself, if you could use paypal I would really appreciate it, and be patient with me as far as shipping, as I am alone, and my cataracts are not good, and should not be driving. If you do not use paypal, I will take USPS Money orders but just prefer Paypal only due to my driving limits to go to the bank. You can check my feedback in the classifieds.

I can send extra pics to your e-mail. Just PM me.

Steve,

I know it sounds silly/cliched, but having cataracts all fixed up gives you a new outlook on Life. I hope all goes as well as it possibly can - but the eyes and the employment.

Pulling for you,

Steve (Yup - yet another one....)

Good luck. I chipped in a few bucks. I have fond memories of Mc Dermott from time I spent there in the 8th grade. That was 50 years ago. I wonder if we knew each other? In a town of 400 people it was likely that we did if we were of similar age.

I hope you get the surgery soon!

Dan
