10/22 failure to go into battery after CPC bolt rework and new Kidd bolt handle TI ma

I am getting two types of malfunctions with 2 of 3 polymer T and I 25 rounds magazines. I can not get them adjusted where they will work reliably. They worked fine before the cpc bolt rework and the Kidd handle upgrade. I have used the light and medium spring on the Kidd handle with no effect.

The most common malfunction is the bolt closing on the brass or the bullet and bending both. The second is the trigger resets, and the bolt closes on an empty chamber.

Any suggestions? Thanks, in advance.

Put the handle the bolt was reworked with back in and check to see if you still have problems, call cpc and ask them

Here is your problem,
it's not a CPC issue.

Magazines are the issue. Try a BX-25 magazine and be sure you DO NOT hold or touch them in any way when trying to fire the rifle.

Just stick with OEM 10 rnd mags. I don't see any way a Kidd charging handle could cause issues providing the proper spring is used.

Ruger BX-1 mags are all I will use anymore. Have tried many others and most end up giving problems. OEM mags are the solution. JMHO

The thing is I had well over 20,000 rounds using those 3 mags with the same bolt before the rework and upgraded charging handle. These Tactical innovation mags predated the Ruger 25 round mags by several years.

I put the factory handle back in but have not the opportunity to run much volume.

Lifes too short to run 10 round mags, in spite of Bill Ruger's opinion.
