T?D trouble

The last few months I’ve been shooting my T/D 2-3 times a month and all of a sudden at the end of the session it won’t come apart. It will move about 1/8” and then seems to hang up. Barrel gets kinda warm but my pistols get warmer. Once it’s cooled down ?, or I loosen the adjustment ring, it comes apart but not smoothly. This has happened the last three trips to the range. Any ideas from anyone ?

How tight do you have the action screw torqued? If itís tooo toot it can interfere with the removal of the barrel.

Thanks for the reply. I've got it two clicks past finger tight like the book says. I've had the gun for quite awhile (2012) and this just started. I take it down after each session and clean it. I hadn't been using it much till this summer but there's a nice air-condition 100 yd range near me so I've been having some fun.

I donít mean the barrel ring , I meant action screw that holds the stock and the action together. Itís riget under the barrel ring and if itís torqued on too tight it runs into the barrel ring and causes the difficulty that you described.

My mistake. Will check later today. I usually make it snug plus a quarter turn or so.

Just to update. Checked and tightness seems OK to me. I think it's heat related. I tend to shoot fast and often at the range. I'll back off a click or two and see if the accuracy changes much. I'm not too accurate to begin with. Thanks for the help.
