Long time BE shooter. As pointed out Accurate RELIABLE ammo > Super Accurate unreliable ammo.

Pretty much any SV ammo will clean even a 50 yd target, try a few brands and go with the one your gun runs reliably because you only get so many alibi's.

CCI SV , Aquilla SV SE are prob the two most popular used today. Try them first before spending on more expensive ammo.

Barrel harmonics in how it is seated, can have an accuracy effect. What ounce action screw setting is yours, free floated?

I am new to this as well. When you refer to CCI SV do you mean CCI Standard velocity 1070fps and 40gr Type: Lead Round Nose?

I'm a little late to the conversation. I'm shooting a High Standard Sharpshooter 5 1/2" Bull barrel for Bulls Eye. I have tried a lot of ammo; and from a Bench rest, the most accurate ammo so far is CCI mini-mags; however in reality when shooting free-hand, the CCI SV gives me the most accuracy. Must be the recoil.

The #'s are 0035 and 0032, which come in the paper (50) or plastic pack (100). Recently some have been reporting issues with too much wax lube, which can affect feeding, so again, dependability in your gun is paramount. CCI also produces Greentag, and a "match" version, neither of which add any accuracy advantage for me, but cost much more. Be careful not to purchase the "Quiet" version - not enough oomph for reliable semiauto function.
